Clear commands, efficient steering, race execution, practice management
I am a student-athlete who thrives on technical precision and high-pressure leadership. My background as a middle school sculler gives me a literal 'feel' for the boat, which I use to bridge the gap between the coach's plan and the rowers' execution. I am seeking a college program that matches my drive for both academic excellence and championship-level rowing.
Selected from a national pool to cox the RSR Elite Boys squad in Summer 2026. My focus is on mastering the physiological demands and technical cadence required for high-performance men’s shells to bring a more versatile, authoritative command back to the Women’s Varsity Squad.
7:00 - 10:00: We gained a lot of energy going through the Montlake Cut, as external motivation really helped our crew get fired up.
11:00 - 12:00: Our middle move was particularly effective -- we used a power 10 for quick + sharp catches to recommit and hit the halfway mark hard, and then a focus 10 for posture around the catch to recenter + stay focused. This helped our boat pick up more speed and keep the press up for the next half of the race.
